A more holistic view of health
Recent years have shown how fragile human health can be and its profound connection to nature.
As a result we’ve noticed an increasing attention towards more holistic approaches to wellbeing leading the demand for natural ingredients to complement healthier lifestyles.
This is a trend we spotted clearly at Vitafoods, where we showcased four products tackling key aspects for human health such as body detox, sleep mood and relaxation, balanced metabolism and urinary tract health.
As you move down to the dedicated sections, don’t miss the chance to listen to Daniele Giavini - Indena Managing Director - and Francesca de Rensis - Indena Marketing Director – discussing the latest trends driving the nutraceutical industry and introducing the showcased products.
Insights from the experts
What is the role of health-food ingredients in facing some of the most pressing and current health conditions associated with today’s lifestyles?
We took some possible answers to the show with products such as Anthocran™ Phytosome, Indena’s cranberry extract for the support of urinary tract health. Relissa™, Indena’s Melissa phospholipids, a natural supplement that can be important in facing and managing a stressful lifestyle. Meriva®, Indena’s curcumin Phytosome, a signature product which continues to reveal new areas of efficacy for human wellbeing: new clinical evidence shows that it is an effective oxidative stress modulator, also in the support of kidney detoxing and filtering functions.
Vitafoods 2022 was also the perfect stage to share the latest studies and data on some of our ingredients.

TAKING CARE
Care for nature
We care about where plants are grown, about how they are handled and about the people who are responsible for them along the supply chain. At Vitafoods we took the opportunity to stress once again the importance of sourcing, traceability and sustainability for Indena.
As “Science is our Nature”, we must ensure that we also use science and knowledge to conserve nature.
