Flavonoids and anthocyanins content1

In a comparative study of 135 samples of red vine leaves of different origins conducted to determine flavonoid, anthocyanin and polyphenol contents, total flavonoid content of red vine leaf is found to be 0.6-3.5% and total anthocyanin content 0.2-1.45%.
The analysis of flavonoids extracted from a broad variety of red vine leaves showed quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide to be the predominant compound, followed by isoquercitrine and kaempferol.
