Extracted from Vaccinum mirtillus berry seeds, OMEGABLUE® is a source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, well-known for their tangible supportive action on cardiovascular system wellbeing.
OMEGABLUE® is a standardized CO2 extract constituted by more than 80% of total fatty acids and more than 50% of total polyunsaturated fatty acids such as Alfa Linolenic Acid (ALA, omega-3) and linoleic acid (LA, omega-6).
EFSA (European Food Safety Agency) has approved several claims highlighting the positive effects of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids on cardiovascular system, for example ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels.2
