The application of the principles of circular economy is a very important part of Indena's commitment to sustainability.
We apply those principles also in product design, as in the case of two of the most important extract in the Indena’s portfolio: Mirtoselect®, our innovative bilberry extract, and Enovita®, our grape seed extract.
Both the products incorporate Indena's true vision of circular economy, aimed to reduce our environmental footprint up and down the value chain and increase our efforts to upcycle food waste. Actually, it means transforming what is usually considered “waste” into raw material or energy.
