Next-generation dietary supplement solutions for a superior user experience
Marking the next step in their strategic partnership, driving the future of nutraceuticals for consumer health, Indena and dsm-firmenich have jointly developed cutting-edge concepts that combine active botanical extracts, biotics and essential nutrients to target a range of health areas. What’s more, they have achieved this while elevating the consumer experience through flavor, taste and easy-to-use formats such as gummies and oral dispersible granules.
Health from the Gut, Brain Health and Healthy Aging
In their synergistic collaboration, the two companies have prioritized research in these three important areas for human well-being.
In the Health from the Gut space, two new gummy solutions are being launched at Vitafoods Europe 2024 with Humiome® Post LB (dsm-firmenich’s postbiotic) combined with Indena’s calming agent Relissa™ (Melissa Phytosome®), and with CUBO™ (Curcumin Phytosome® + Boswellia Phytosome®) for microbiome balance.
For Brain Health new solutions will be introduced featuring Virtiva® Plus (Ginkgo biloba L. extract with phosphatidylserine), life’s®OMEGA (dsm-firmenich’s algal-sourced omega-3 ingredient) and Quali®-B12 (vitamin B12 ingredient). Quercefit® (quercetin Phytosome®, optimizing biological performance), and ampli-D® (an innovative ingredient shown to increase levels of the ‘sunshine vitamin’ faster) will support Healthy Aging.
